Fleeta Siegel is currently on faculty Kingston University, Kingston-upon-Thames, London. He is Senior lecturer on the Digital Media and Digital Video Production for the school of Arts and Social Sciences. Course leader in Digital Video Editing and Designing for the Internet. Principal lecturer on new MA in Digital Media and Live Arts Performance Art Practice in the School of Art and Architecture. Formerly part-time visiting lecturer for BSc and MSc students in Multi-Media, University of Westminster, Harrow Campus, London facilitating courses on Animation and Digital Video Technology. He is a co-director of SENS [Synthesizing Emerging New Systems], an independent company setup to implement user specified design issues, as they relate to online and fixed media. Clients include artists, accountancy firms, fashion designers, and secondary London schools seeking to understand interactive technologies. They have collaborated with a number of international artists using a variety of technologies to enhance our understanding of Human-Computer possibilities. Between 1998 and 2003 he was the Media Project Coordinator and Curriculum developer for Weekend Arts College’s digital media courses including: New-Player computer games workshop (collaboration between WAC and inIVA); using SoundBeam with physically disadvantaged young people; Lego Mindstorms Robots with performance art; and additional summer programs around Internet Radio and Short Films.
